We created The Cheeky Fox Trail for family groups who are looking for a unique, activity-based nature experience, that is close to Melbourne.

The experience was developed as part of the 2020 Walk High Country Kickstart Program, managed by Tourism North East, to accelerate the delivery of tourism products by private operators in Victoria's High Country. Given our proximity to the spectacular Kinglake National Park with its great selection of walking tracks, we decided to submit a product idea to the program.

While the idea changed shape several times over the course of the Kickstart program, the objective always remained the same, which is to share the beauty of the Kinglake Ranges and attract visitors to the region by showcasing its attractions, community, and businesses.

We are proud to say that The Cheeky Fox Trail stays true to this objective, and so far includes contributions by 13 local groups, community members and businesses.
